Pinky and the Brain full review
Virtually every cartoon lover knows these cool cartoon characters. This is so thanks to the fact that the cartoon series that features the two characters also goes by the name Pinky and the Brain.
The brain expectedly from the name is the intelligent of the two. With its primary aim being to take over the world and this also forms the basis for every episode of the cartoon series and for every action these cool cartoon characters especially the Brain takes.
The character of Brain was majorly voiced by Maurice LaMarche. The voice can be likened to that of Orson Welles. In actual fact, both characters met in an episode of “What Ever Happened to Baby Brain” where it was revealed that they had the same mission of taking over the world. The name Brain is an acronym for “Biological Recombinant Algorithmic Intelligence Nexus”. Brain has a tail that takes the shape of a staircase and he often makes use of the tail to pick the lock of his cage. His head is big and wide and couples as the home of his ridiculously large brain. His intelligence and mischief makes is why he is regarded as a genius. He uses his ingenuity to come up with ways of taking over the world. Politics, cultural inventions and his brain are the tools he uses to actualize his plan, though he almost never succeeds. Even as he can be regarded as somewhat unemotional, Brain has some sense of humor and actually fell in love with Trudie, in a couple of episodes.
Brain’s journey to the lab of ACME started after he was captured by researchers. He formerly lived in a can at the bottom of a tree before the capturing by researchers from ACME.
Pinky is the other cartoon character that completes the pair. He shares the same cage with the genius Brain. Unlike Brain, Pinky is unstable and hyperactive and his appearance is the opposite of his cage mate – Brain. Pinky is portrayed as being tall, having blue eyes and a high-pitched voice unlike Brain that is short, has ink eyes and a deep voice.
The name Pinky was given by Brain though not in an intentional manner. Pinky is a happier and more open-minded character when compared to the Brain. He is an assistant to the Brain in his quest to take over the world. His hobbies are watching TV, trivia, and following pop culture. Anyone that knows these two cool cartoon characters would remember this statement, “Are you pondering what I’m pondering?
