YOSEMITE SAM – THE RED-BEARDED GUN SLINGER

Yosemite Sam, along with Elmer Fudd, is the archenemy of Bugs Bunny. Yosemite is a red-bearded gun slinger who often shows his temper as well as his disdain for rabbits, especially Bugs. His violent spirit often shows, as he frequently fires his guns at Bugs. In most shorts Yosemite is presented as a cowboy, but he has also played the role of a pirate, Viking, sailor, knight, etc.
