Popeye’s character first appeared way back in 1929. He is known for becoming unbelievably strong whenever he eats spinach. Popeye’s trademarks are his pipe he always keeps in his mouth, as well as his bizarrely big forearms. Popeye is often seen saving his girlfriend, the super skinny Olive Oil from Bluto, Popeye’s foe.
